"Being an artist is dragging your

innermost feelings out, giving a piece of

yourself, no matter in which art form, in

which medium"

Born 1958 in Switzerland, where both her Father and Grandfather used to be passionate art lovers, she was early introduced into the world of painting and sculpting. The smell of turpentine and wet oil paints is  an inseparable impression of her childhood memories. She smiles recalling the many incidents when their piano was transformed into a large easel. Her father would sit there and instead of playing music paint his oil pictures. He was the one who taught her painting techniques. Her Grandfather instilled in her the passion for sculpting.

Raised and educated in Switzerland, she continued her studies at a professional college for commerce, sales & art, receiving a diploma of honor by the Swiss Government.

In her early twenties she decided to move from secure, orderly Switzerland to hectic, chaotic and vibrant Israel.  It goes without saying that the culture-clash was immense, yet being  convinced that those very same challenges came as a blessing, elevating  in her both passion and creativity.  In this levantine surrounding, filled with contradictions and conflicts, multi-cultured, one had not long to search for inspirations, they were being served on  a silver plate. The sea with its rather cool color spectrum against the flamboyant,  warm shades of  wild fauna bringing out the best in an artist.

She raised a Family and her three lovely girls share her passion for Art. Even in the Years when the kids were small and needed more attention she was able to keep up her enthusiasm and the desire to create. Performing Art is like breathing to her!

In order to create she  seeks for freedom,  experiencing it the most on her numerous walks and bike rides through the wild countryside. It is then when her Art is mentally born and begins to take shape. For the very same reason her art is reflecting her deep connection to nature. Her works are mainly created in her garden, under the blue sky, surrounded by trees and bushes. It is there that she feels a harmonic flow of a true and free spirit!
